Itsy Bitsy Purse

In my last post I mentioned that I would be making a purse to match Isabella´s Hat Here and satchel, Here and here it is! It really was great fun to make, basically just cut the fabric to the size you want, sew it up as you would for any bag, and glue the top of the fabric to the metal closure. This closure has openings on the bottom rim, so I sewed pink embroidery floss through it to give it a little finishing touch.

Once again I asked Teddy to pose, just because I think he´s ever so cute 🙂

Well from the number of items that I have made with these fabrics, I think it is pretty obvious that I fully intend to use up every scrap of leftover fabric 😉

Thanks for the visit, have a great day!

Bucket Hat

In anticipation that sometime this year we will actually have a summer, I made a hat for  Isabella!

I made it to match the satchel which I posted about Here

The pattern for the hat can be found at the  Oliver + S site free pattern

I really love the way it turned out, I think it´s super cute!

Since Isabella didn´t much feel like posing,  I used little vintage teddy to help out, even though it´s  a tad big for him 🙂
